![]() And with less trucks you cause less pollution. Warehouses don't cause pollition by themselves - trucks do. You should keep your factory strcturised from the start. The path will have the same tile length, so you just lose some money at building upkeep. Having a warehouse (or two, if there are 4 or 5 shops) near every town is a good strategy, but intermediate warehouses is not. ![]() Not like near any fabric, of course, but still. But near warehouse it will be polluted, yes. ![]() It sucks, because game does not notify you, but "meed demand" does the thing itself.Ībout using warehouses from mid-game only: - the ROI is pretty much like very simplified Factorio. May be, one day I will create passengers mod, but for now, I can't create my own road lolĪs I know, the main difference between "send max" and "meet demand" is that the demand, actually, can change in time. You do the same things over anv over again, just with different buildings. Also, you really don't have to watch guides or something. Don't sell raw resources - they are cheap and you pay for delivery. You really shouldn't listen what the game suggests you. So, at the moment I am distributing Cotton to both the Liverpool Hardware Store and to three Toy Factories for 'Stuffing Production' and I'm having to use 'Max Delivery = 2' for the Toy Factories and 'Meet Demand' for the store. Though apparently it isn't available for the shipment of components. If the answer is positive, a truck gets dispatched.I took a chance and used it and like you say it seems to be working. Before dispatching, a building checks if a shop really needs the production. Originally posted by SafeBreaker PurpleHeart:Apparently, yes. I've read that road and distribution guide but apart from trying to leave room for additional roads I haven't needed to use any of the techniques as I don't have that much traffic yet. Also just added Gas which is reasonably priced in Liverpool Hardware. I'm researching Trains at the moment which will make better use of the Lumber and should tick the next box on the Guidance. Then opted for Cotton and Berries and now I'm also using the Cotton for Stuffing, which is my first Tier 1 Product. I had to build a Lumber Yard to Tick the box on the Guide so I maxed out the demand for Lumber at the Hardware Store even though its not very profitable. Liverpool was the only three store town on the map, so I chose to start there (Hardware/Farmers Market/Toy Store). It is really hard to lose then, tbh That's what I'm doing at the moment.
